Hulk

I couldn't think of anything to draw this week. My daughter got a hulk toy in her happy meal and it was sitting in front of me. So, here he is!

Running Tub?

Nothing relaxes me more than a nice hot bubble bath. After the week I've had, I think I'm in need of one. After I sketched this, I realized that the legs were not the same size and the tub is tilted. Kind of looks like my bath is running away from me!

Random

I drew this a couple of days ago. Whatever came to my mind, I drew it. I have no idea what it all means, but its a preview of my thoughts.

On another note.... (this is me venting)

Updating my blog and doing the homework assignment even though its late and won't count. I'm not one to listen to excuses myself, but sometimes life happens. My laptop was finally fixed on Thursday but the storm knocked out my internet!!!! I've been going out of my way to use friends computers. I even went to Mcdonalds and sat in their parking lot and I couldn't access angel! I have been having so much trouble with the internet and my computer its not even funny. I just can't win this semester! So, here it is Saturday afternoon, about one o' clock, and I finally have internet. Now, on with my day.

I was watching Reservior Dogs tonight for my Intro to Film class. While watching, I sketched all kinds of different objects that caught my eye. There was a scene from a club, and I don't think a disco ball was actually in the scene but it popped into my head so I sketched it. Its a little messy, but you get the idea :)

My husky Pollo

This is my husky Pollo. I drew him this week because he is in the dog house. He ended up breaking my computer today. I have no more laptop for school. This is pretty frustrating for me right now. He's so cute though, can't be too mad at him. He didn't know he was breaking it. He ended up tripping over the power cord and the laptop hit the floor, jarred my hard drive. Maybe, it was my fault. Now I'm at my best friends house at 11:54 at night trying to post my homework in time!

4th of July

I chose to draw this sketch because of my weekend. We went to see fireworks for the 4th of July, which is pictured behind the camera (in case you were wondering). I didn't take pictures of the fireworks, but I did take pictures all weekend of family and nature. I took a digital photography during the spring semester and learned basic photography techniques. I'm not sure how much of the information sunk in, but I still try to get out and take pictures whenever possible.

St. Louis Trip

This week my daughter and I took a trip to St. Louis to visit a friend of mine. On the way there, just around Effingham, il, a big storm hit. The sky looked angry. It was black, and you could see the rain gushing from the clouds. As we approached the storm I braced myself. It was raining so hard you couldn't see the road in front of you. There were cars pulled over to the side. There was a semi truck in front of me. I could barely see his lights between the swipe of the wiper blades. The rain was blowing side ways. I kept my eyes on that semi's lights, and we inched down the interstate and out of the storm. I'm sure it only lasted maybe five minutes, but it felt like eternity. I was never so happy to get out of that storm! My daughter slept through the whole thing. When we got to St. Louis there were clear skies. It was hot and sunny as pictured in my sketch above.
